Aesthetic Artistry
We're Bond & Bowery, a website with the most diverse selection of antiques, design, and fine art in cyberspace. We highlight quality pieces without the clutter of competing ads and excessive editorial content. B & B understands the importance of a valuable acquisition and its contribution to home decoration.
Your B & B Host: I'm George Evans, and I've spent the last 20 years importing and exporting antiques and fine design pieces from Europe. I'm a New York City dealer and I have two showrooms in Lambertville, New Jersey.
This month we're bringing you an 1895 Monumental Signed Baccarat Cameo Vase. This great two-color gilt enamel glass piece, quite tall at 23.5 inches, is from my G. Evans Ltd. Antiques shop at No. 8 Bridge Street in quaint Lambertville, New Jersey.
A vase this size can make an impressive statement on a center hall table, with a large bouquet of flowers gracing an entranceway. Or try adding a flower arrangement in our lovely cameo vase and place is on an elegant sideboard, as in this Bedford, NY dining room masterfully designed by Jeffrey Bilhuber.
We think this vase would be beautiful in your home. For a more in-depth discussion about the artistry of Baccarat, see our By George! interview with Design2Share. And visit Bond & Bowery for the item detail page on the piece.
