Designer Tip: Jack Levy's Final Touch
We're having fun finishing up our rooms at the 2010 Hampton Designer Showhouse. If you've ever been behind the scenes at a showhouse, you know that there's much work and planning that goes into the execution of a "perfect room." During a break, we spoke with designer Jack Levy about his upstairs bedroom project. "Look at these hangers," he said as he pulled out several fabric padded hangers that matched the fabric in his room's window treatments and headboard (see above). "This makes the perfect gift and it's an elegant final touch for any closet."
Jack's recommended resource is Henry Hanger, a Nashua, NH company founded in 1929. They carry stock hangers of every description and you can work with them to add your own fabric to their existing designs. Click here for more information on their custom fabric padded hangers, and thanks to Jack Levy for passing along this resource, back from his years working in the fashion industry.
