Jay Johnson - We're giving out our Wish List of home decor items we'd like to find under the holiday tree this year.

One of this year's beautiful decorative touches in the NYC Kips Bay Designer Show House were the Sculp du Fleur sculptural wall embellishments from Nina Helms. The designer's faux finishes, murals, and now her contemporary fabric shapes - so steeped in European influence - have put Ms. Helms in the design spotlight.

Her work shines brightly indeed.

Jay Johnson - We're giving out our Wish List of home decor items we'd like to find under the holiday tree this year.

Crate and Barrel has been one of my go-to destinations for holidays gifts for years. Their styling is American Classic, so anything I get there will usually harmonize well with popular taste. I found some items this year that filled me with cheer, and I wanted to immediately put them on my wish list. First: the Bronze Ornament Tree (I've always wanted one) and the Folk Swirl Ball Ornaments (set of three 3-inch diameter cuties). The lounge lizard in me lusts after their Savoy Bar Accessories: Bar Pitcher, Ice Bucket-Cooler, and Avalon Tray (faux crocodile leather with metal handles).
