Katy's Kitchen Part 6: Design Details

Irwin Weiner ASID - Westport, CT interior designer Katy Cleare has invited us into her kitchen, and you can tell that she's designed a room she truly loves and uses every day. Our take-away from our featured video of Katy's kitchen designs was that she's in tune with the way she and her husband cook, entertain, and houseclean. Things are set up for convenience, low maintenance, beauty, and function. KATY'S KITCHEN DECORATING TIP: "I love the Natural Front Farmhouse Sink in black granite with a natural front apron (see top photo), by Stone Forest. The rough-hewn front looks so organic and would be killer-looking in an Adirondack cabin. Once again, a functional item can be sculptural and artwork, too."
