Origins of Home Christmas Trees
Irwin Weiner ASID - Our dear friend Nigel Maister has a sublime website, Found Photographs, and his "bodacious" holiday picture (above) is part of our holiday greetings from Nigel and Design2Share to you. Completely under the spell of the holidays, we found this great video from Kidz With a Kause (another wonderful website) about the origins of having Christmas trees in our homes - a fascinating and fun look at our holiday customs.

Jay Johnson - We're giving out our Wish List of home decor items we'd like to find under the holiday tree this year.
Crate and Barrel has been one of my go-to destinations for holidays gifts for years. Their styling is American Classic, so anything I get there will usually harmonize well with popular taste. I found some items this year that filled me with cheer, and I wanted to immediately put them on my wish list. First: the Bronze Ornament Tree (I've always wanted one) and the Folk Swirl Ball Ornaments (set of three 3-inch diameter cuties). The lounge lizard in me lusts after their Savoy Bar Accessories: Bar Pitcher, Ice Bucket-Cooler, and Avalon Tray (faux crocodile leather with metal handles). Click on the pictures below for more information.
