Wonderful Wardrobe

We're Bond & Bowery, a website with the most diverse selection of antiques, design, and fine art in cyberspace. We highlight quality pieces without the clutter of competing ads and excessive editorial content. B & B understands the importance of a valuable acquisition and its contribution to home decoration.

Your B & B Host: I'm George Evans, and I've spent the last 20 years importing and exporting antiques and fine design pieces from Europe. I'm a New York City dealer and I have two showrooms in Lambertville, New Jersey.

This week we're bringing you a French Art Deco Armoire by Jules Leleu. This distinguished, sleek Art Deco cabinetry is brought to us from c2 Interiors & Design, located at 11740 San Vicente Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.

Jules Leleu has one of the top reputations when it comes to 20th Century furniture designers. The French deco styling is minimalist, clean, stark, and less ornamented when compared to American deco pieces. An armoire like this would be stunning in any room, topped with decorative pots as with the decorative Amy Perlin Antiques cabinet that designer Thomas Britt included in this Palm Beach living room.

We think this Leleu piece would look great in your home. For a more in-depth discussion about Jules Leleu and French Art Deco Furniture, see my By George! interview with Design2Share. And visit Bond & Bowery for the item detail page on this elegant piece.

Complete Seats

We're Bond & Bowery, a website with the most diverse selection of antiques, design, and fine art in cyberspace. We highlight quality pieces without the clutter of competing ads and excessive editorial content. B & B understands the importance of a valuable acquisition and its contribution to home decoration.

Your B & B Host: I'm George Evans, and I've spent the last 20 years importing and exporting antiques and fine design pieces from Europe. I'm a New York City dealer and I have two showrooms in Lambertville, New Jersey.

This week we're bringing you a Pair of Paul Frankl Speed Chairs, buff-colored velvet club chairs with Jazz motif seat cushions by one of the great Art Deco furniture designers. The chairs were designed with curves to resemble streamlined movement and the shape of speed boats from the 1930s. This pair is from our dealers at Center 44, located at 222 East 44 Street in New York City; they're a fantastic resource for quality antiques and fine art.

Decorators know the value of a beautiful pair of deco club chairs. They add versatility and comfort to any seating arrangement, like this pair of chairs dressing up a fresh and eclectic living room designed by Dominique Picquier.

We think these deco chairs would look great in your home. For a more in-depth discussion about Paul Frankl, see my By George! interview with Design2Share. And visit Bond & Bowery for the item detail page on this pair of beautiful chairs.
