  Favorite Green Things for St. Patrick's Day

We toast all things green in the design world this week!

We made the custom shade (see above) online in mere seconds with the new lampshade design and ordering service from Alluminaire! Check out the full scoop on Design Hole, one of our all-time favorite design blogs.

The green in the mini bowl and saucer above really caught our eye! They're from the Sol Recycled Glass Dinnerware collection available from eco-friendly Viva Terra.

Fab is the only way to describe this green Almidi Star Mirror from Casamidy. And don't forget to check out the Star Table that goes with it for 1001 Arabian Nights in your sheik home.

Above: Smith and Hawken celebrates spring with this lovely Cook's Herb Wreath, a decorative and useful addition to any kitchen.

The latest rage in beanbags is show above -- the friendly, who-cares Fatboy line. They come in all different styles and colors, and pictured above is the Fatboy Island. Comfy.

We think that if you lick this lime green Smeg fridge, it would taste like a cool Popsicle! What do you think?

This bright green house (above) must be the talk of the neighborhood . . . or the subject of a few lawsuits!

Bobby Berk's Inhabit Living Nourish in Grass sheets are grass-green lovely (above).

Finally, we think kids would have fond childhood memories growing up with this myHaven Cottage Bunk Bed system.

Since 1829 there has been a Philadelphia Flower Show, the oldest flower show in the U.S. If you didn't attend the early March 2008 New Orleans themed "Jazz It Up!" Show, you can still check out the Show's excellent vendors and their plants, outdoor furniture, garden accessories, and other wares that make us Think Spring!

We're big fans of Garden Rant ("Uprooting the Gardening World"). Please check them out. They're probably the most genuine voice for great grassroots gardening around, and a refreshing change from what they decry as those perfect gardens in all the magazines.

  Favorite "Here's Looking at You!" Mirrors

Bond & Bowery has a lovely Pair of 19th Century Carved Gilt Wood Oval Mirrors circa 1860, and we think you should look into them (get it?).
