Favorite Cake

With Halloween on the way, we love the Dean & Deluca Bat Cake. We admit, however, to loving anything wrapped in black and purple tinted white chocolate, surrounding a moist yellow cake layered with mocha mousse. Hmmmmm.

Thanks to Marc Sacco of Sacco Carpets for sharing these pictures with us, all taken on a recent worldwide trip to Marc's rug suppliers. From top to bottom, a worker in Nepal hand-cutting the pile, a woman in Katmandu carrying large skeins of loose wool, a worker named Deepak tying the knots on a Sacco carpet, a worker's baby hangs calmly in a hammock strung between looms, and workers at a South African mill creating an amazing hand-woven mohair rug.

This Suzan Fellman slipper chair design is fantastic. The Bespoke Silk Scarf Chair is made with vintage designer scarves, and it's a great way to add individuality and craftsmanship to your home. Bespoke is one of the best European design houses, and this chair is smashing. The lucite legs are divine.
