The wonderful feature of Country French furnishings is that they fit well into most any home decor settings, particularly casual and rustic schemes. We fell in love with this Chandelier Pot Rack from Pierre Deux. It's like a found object, handmade with six candles and Roussillon pleated shades. Suspend this fellow over a kitchen island and you've got the perfect fixture for lighting up your workspace and displaying your copper pots and hanging herbs. Magnifique.

We recently visited Maison Fey, leather artisans in Paris. Give us anything from Maison Fey for this holiday season. They create the most amazing stamped and tooled leathers for furniture, bookbinding, screens, and other decor pieces. They also apply imaginative colors to the leather, glaze them, and turn them into fantastic works of art. Their "Bureau Rose" below is one example of amazing leatherwork applied to a console table. Yes, please!
