Truly one of the nicest big-name interior designers in the industry - and a shining light in the New York City design scene - is Samuel Botero. Besides a wonderful temperament, he has true skill with color, getting the bones of a space right, and moving clients into good purchases. As you'll see in this Architectural Digest video interview, Mr. Botero's humility and sincerity is evident. We second his advice for clients to buy at least one really good piece per room - something you're really pushing hard to afford, but will later never regret purchasing - and to support young artists' work that really resonate with you.

Geoffrey Bradfield
June 21, 2011
The industry knows Geoffrey Bradfield as the AD 100 interior designer with the impeccable outfits and a warm, friendly smile. And there is much to smile about these days for this life-is-good professional. With residential and office commissions humming from his NYC headquarters and his satellite offices in Dubai and Palm Beach, he's also celebrating his deco-inspired transparent Millennium Modern furniture collection and Signature Collection carpets for Stark.
And you will sometimes see bespoke accents and furnishings from Geoffrey Bradfield that take your breath away, as in this video of a 1940s-inspired mirror.
