Our Dream Bedroom's Terrace
Frank Lloyd Wright got it right with this decadent master bedroom terrace of Fallingwater, his Mill Run, Pennsylvania late 1930s masterpiece. The living room terrace is just below. (Photo Credit: Cambridge2000.com)

Add an Artful Touch
First, we want a fireplace in our ideal space. Bibi Monnahan has a painted prayer by Virgil Ortiz on her bedroom fireplace. We want to be artrageous in our Dream Bedroom, so give us the strength to be fearless and create some unique statements. (Photo Credit: Hiroko Masuike for the New York Times)

Window Seat, Please
This bedroom has charm and flair -- and a place to sit by the window and daydream. Our Dream Bedroom will have nooks and crannies where we can sit, read, curl up, snooze, snack, or gaze at a beautiful view. (Photo Credit: Cote de Texas)

Create a Fabric Fantasy
Dream Bedrooms need fantasy fabrics, and this Charlotte Moss retail bedroom display delivers the textiles in spades -- crisp patterned sheets, yards and yards of bed canopy fabric, and tailored window treatments that are elegance personified. (Photo Credit: Floto + Warner for New York.com)

Luxury Mix
Geoffrey Bradfield is a master of combining high-end elements in each room he designs, and we love his combinations of so-chic lucite chair, mirrors, deep-pile bed comforter, neutral wall panels, and tri-tone neutral custom floor covering. (Photo Credit: CreativeActivity Blogspot)

Clean & Geometric
We're conflicted. We may need more than one Dream Bedroom suite, as we are drawn to strong patterns and charming traditional bedrooms as well as clean, minimalistic bedrooms like this geometrically-shaped penthouse bedroom from 1100 Architect and Tony Ingrao. (Photo Credit: Peter Aaron/Esto)

Closets for Days
The Dream Bedroom suite must have walk-in closets, and we're inclined to separate ones for each adult using the space. How decadent, but every clothes horse needs a swank stable! (Photo Credit: Classic Closets and Design.com)

An Outrageous Bed
The Dream Bedroom should have an outrageous bed. There are expensive mattresses, like the $50,000+ Vividus bed, but this $1 million+ Floating Magnetic Bed is what we want! Created by architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars of Universe Architecture, he's developed fixed-positioned bed using opposing magnetic poles to give you a real floating-on-air sleep. Ensuite Baths with Toys
Our Dream Bedroom will have ensuite bathrooms -- and why not one for each person comprising their half of the master suite couple? We also want them loaded with toys. This particular bath has a TileVision entertainment center for maximum tub viewing, including heated glass panel to ward off condensation, an LG-Philips LCD TV, and FM radio. We also love the heated towel bar for toasty-warm Turkish bed sheets to wrap in when we're done in the bath, a bidet, acres of clean tile everywhere, and a silent-flush toilet. Last, but not least, we want head support when we're in the tub, so give us a comfy cushion to support our head and neck as we read in the tub and keep all wrinkly! (Photo Credit: Bornrich.org)
