The Eyes Have It
The first thing you notice about Beverly Sacks display of fine art is the careful and humorous way she groups disparate pieces. She loves unique objects that display strong personality, and this grouping of sculpture and objects is easy on the eye. Go to Beverly Sacks Fine Art for more information. -
Figurehead Standing Guard
One of the studio rooms is guarded by an imposing ship's figurehead. Also in the room are shelves of studio pottery and other sculptural forms, paintings, and display cases of fine art jewelry. Go to Beverly Sacks Fine Art for more information. -
Resting in Peace
The painting of a dead man, dressed in his white suit, is a favorite of the gallery owner. It's a beauty, and it presides over a number of fascinating sculptures and works of fine art. Go to Beverly Sacks Fine Art for more information. -
Coney Island on My Mind
Always the curator, Beverly has collected paintings and memorabilia in themes, from paintings of women and portraits of smokers to Coney Island. On this wall there is a great painting of bathers and on the right a smaller painting showing the famous boardwalk. Go to Beverly Sacks Fine Art for more information. -
Witch's Lamp & Office Space
This office space features great storage in an old curio chest for fine jewelry pieces. Note the lamp, one of a pair, featuring iron witches and other Halloween motif. Fascinating details to delight the senses. Go to Beverly Sacks Fine Art for more information.

If These Walls Could Talk

Heavenly Faces
The carved innocence of this putto harmonizes beautifully with the lovely Red Headed Woman, an oil by Alice Beach (Winter). -
Everywhere You Look
Something interesting to see in this gallery, at every twist and turn. A marble-topped table holds statuary and pottery while paintings watch over the grouping. Go to Beverly Sacks Fine Art for more information.

Gerda Wegener
A Victorian couch dominates a back wall of the gallery, but the L'Aperitif watercolor by Gerda Wegener is a real showstopper. -
Last Look
As we big goodbye to Beverly, we took one last photo of her gallery. Each painting caught our attention, each sculpture invited us to walk around and observe the fine details and craftsmanship. It was a fascinating visit and we thank Beverly for allowing us to share her gallery/living space with the D2S community. Go to Beverly Sacks Fine Art for more information.
