Irwin Weiner ASID - It's not easy being green, said Kermit the Frog - and most interior designers I know. We can steer clients towards furniture and fabrics with a green ethos, like the divine table 433 (see photo above) from diefabrik, made from 433 recycled wooden venetian blinds. So clever. Or we can be like Westport, CT designer Catherine Cleare, who shows us in our video interview how she spots antiques and trashy treasures and recycles them into fantastic restored pieces. It takes imagination and some great resources, but a good decorator should be able to help you reclaim the lost and be a better steward of our resources. Go, Katy!

DESIGN2SHARE BONUS: Here's another interior designer we found who loves to recycle furniture, in a more table 443 way: read our feature about Bill Scroggie called This Designer Emphasizes Value.
