Irwin Weiner ASID - We wanted to share our photos from the invitation-only opening night preview of the latest Antiques, Art & Design at the Armory show this past September 21 at the Park Avenue Armory in NYC, co-hosted by Ellie CullmanJamie Drake, and Dr. Eva Andersson-Dubin.

General observations: We loved how Donghia supplied all the seating in the center of the show, contrasting an elegant, luxurious, modern look with all the antiques and traditional works. The show focuses on items that are interesting, valuable, high quality, but more importantly items you'd like to live with - everything was fashionable and stylish and in demand; no surplus baggage. Fine Russian collectibles, from gorgeous silver to Faberge accessories, seemed to cater to the many affluent Russian buyers frequenting New York City these days. There's always a great energy to these events. Guests ran through the supply of white wine half way through the evening, and were happy to compromise with a prosecco substitute glass. No one seemed to complain.
